From Pop to Chutney and Reggaeton, we got it all this Labor Day Weekend. Let's end this sizzling summer with nothing but lit tunes! We got the summer heat with the hits from Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul & Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora ft. Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX, Bounty Killer & Barrington Levy, DJ Bravo, King Bubba FM, KI & JMC 3Veni, Terry Gajraj, Sundar Popo, Ding Dong & Konshens, Mavado, 6ix9ine, and much more.

We're back this week with a mid-week mix down that's heavy on the Chutney and EDM side of things. We pay tribute to the legends Sonny Mann  (mega hit  Loota La) and Sundar Popo. Both gone, but never forgotten on the dance floor. Raise your glasses and move your feet to the best of the best when it comes to the chutney.  We also have hits from Baauer (Harlem Shake), Don Omar (Danza Kuduro), Rihanna (Rockstar 101). Not one to forget our Soca fans, we have some big Soca tunes by Lavaman with Kerwin Du Bois, Hypasounds (big up our Bajan fans out of Barbados), and Zoelah. We also got some big tunes for our Dancehall fans like Charly Black. Before heading back to the Chutney side with Rick Ramoutar (Ah Shoulda Never).  Shout outs to DJ Frontline Soundz, blazing the tunes on Liberty Avenue on Friday nights. We also had a treat at Sunday service/puja at Durga Shiva Mandir with Mr. Duniya doing a duet with the lovely and talented Vaishali Sookram, winner of Emerging Voices out of Guyana (featured celebrity judge Jeffrey Iqbal). Vaishali is the cousin of Ben Parag, from the tv show Dil Hai Hindustani.

We are back again this week with some more cool mixes to keep you frosty and dry in this heatwave we have upon us this summer. First, we wanna big up everyone who enjoyed their 4th of July, and all of the neighborhood kids who had a safe and fun time with the fireworks shows in and around New York City. To keep up with our theme of Taste the Caribbean and our appetite, we've decided to share a photo of what we are chowing down on while mixing in the studio. The beautiful DJ Nims whipped up some cookup, fry fish, and her own brand of hot pepper sauce. img_2076.jpg We also took some time this week to check out the LIC Food and Flea Market in Long Island City, New York. While on our way to the Macys 4th of July fireworks display. Definitely worth a trip if you can get lucky and get a good parking and avoid traffic while leaving LIC. DJ Nims We kick off this week with some heavy soca by hitmakers like Bunji Garlin, Patrice Roberts, Kerwin Du Bois, Iwer George, Machel Montano & Xtatik and so much more. We even threw in some Spanish tunes for our Latino listeners, such as Daddy Yankee, and Elvis Crespo. Shout out to everyone having fun in the sun. As we end this week's podcast we got a chance to check out Coney Island in Brooklyn and had the opportunity to listen to some of the Reggae and Reggaeton vibes being played on the boardwalk while we soak up the sunrays. We even had the opportunity to check out the original Nathan's Famous and Wahlburgers of Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg family. We threw in some Bhangra at the end for our desi fans, featuring classics by Imran Khan, Panjabi MC "Beware Of The Boys", before signing off with some heavy trance/EDM tracks by Rihanna, and much more. We wanna thank everyone for their patience and also apologize for our long hiatus. Lots of things happened from XXXTentacion predicting his death to Justice for Junior unfolding in The Bronx. We go from darkness to light, bringing you positive vibes and helping you keep your head up, and stay focused on the day to day grind.

Some of our highlights include meeting up with the star of Let's Talk With Lakshmee, our very own Guyanese Oprah, promoting our beautiful and prosperous culture. She took the time out to say hello to us while we were cruising the avenue in Richmond Hill.

Also, want to send out lots of love to the Caribbean Equality Project who carried our bright and beautiful colors (Guyana Flag) in the streets of Manhattan, waving it high and proudly. Big up Romeo "Mystic" Nermal with Coolie Bai Dance, who has fans coast to coast, sea to sea. We heard you proudly and loudly on the speaker boxes in the parade in New York City.

We kick off this week's podcast with Tommy Lee Sparta, before transitioning into some new tracks by Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul, Valentino Khan, and not forgetting the new collabo between Prostyle and international Reggae sensation Shaggy.
